The choices we make never really matter anyway.

Still, the cliff beckons.

Because that’s another thing the journal is for: The mundane. The simple. The everyday. Then, you get to rest.

Have I stopped dreaming?

We use this idea of time much too much as an excuse to not do what we truly want. It’s an easy out. After we utter the sentence, “I don’t have time,” the majority of people around us nod their heads in grave agreement.

But that elusive joy we all seek is so rare and fleeting, we convince ourselves ‘this will be the thing that allows me to finally attain such joy.
